    Abstract:
Urban housing and living spatial pattern in cities, which is the important visual to recognize cities and their spatial structure, deeply reflects the society economy conditions. It is a new field of residential space analysis to study residential problems from the point of view of residential rents, which provides quantitative analysis method on spatial differentiation law of urban housing. Based on 964 homes’ transaction information in Xi’an’s seven central districts in July, 2014, this paper uses ArcGIS and Sufer software to explore the spatial distribution characteristics and its factors of residential rents in Xi’an’s seven districts, and uses SPSS software to discuss the factors affecting the residential rents. The conclusions from the analysis include: (1) The rental housing mainly concentrated within the central-south districts (Yanta, Beilin and Lianhu); (2) the spatial distribution of residential rents takes on a pattern of “center around the high low” and “ residence suburbanization”, Yanta District has generally high rents, the highest appears in Qujiang subdistrict; Chang’an district has generally low rents, the lowest appears in Yinzhen subdistrict; (3) By means of regression analysis, the main factors affecting the residential rents such as residential facilities, decoration and commercial service facilities have been found. This study has a practical significance, which can provide theoretical reference for policy making.

    [Abstract](1147) [HTML](0) [PDF 28.96 M](9057)
    Abstract:
Urban integration is an important way for geographical adjacent cities to achieve coordinated regional developments in the fast-growing area, also an evolutionary process with dynamic equilibrium. At present, planning practices of urban integration have made some achievements, which are static and visionary. A lack of dynamic regulation to the process of urban integration results in a lower degree of planning implementation and slower pace of development. Therefore, this thesis puts forward the concept of dynamic regulation consisting of the dynamic integration of the elements, dynamic equilibrium of society and the dynamic control of the process. Meanwhile, it takes integration planning of Qilin-Zhanyi-Malong metropolitan area as an example, and analyzes the specific measures and the control keys of dynamic regulation of integration planning in different stages.

    Abstract:
Under the background of new urbanization and the bottom-up approach of community governance, community culture can be constructed effectively, started with cultivation of community identity, which can also contribute to the formation of basic urban culture unit in some specific areas. According to the synthesis of the studies from different subjects at home and abroad, “participation” and “interaction” are the primary accesses to the cultivation of community identity. This article mainly uses methods of literature review, comparative study and in-depth interview to search for the strategies of community identity cultivation basing on two typical communities in Amoy which can be classified into local community and migrant community. The authors propose that local community should give priority to the demand and supply of public infrastructure and public space as well as the construction of the interactive platform for all kinds of community cultural activities, while migrant community should give priority to the transformation of management mode and the realization of equal public services due to the heterogenicity and the mobility. Also, migrant community could construct interactive platform between community and enterprise to enable the latter play a role in activities organization and services provision so that a sound community cultural atmosphere could be created.

    [Abstract](1353) [HTML](0) [PDF 13.44 M](5816)
    Abstract:
As a representative figure of the stylistic restoration principle, Eugène Emmanuel Viollet-le-Duc found that the beauty of architecture comes from its own structure, and the rationality of structure is the foundation of the building, through his own practice and survey. Therefore, he highly praised the restoration theory based on rational thoughts and the Gothic Revival. He continuously put his methods into practice within restoration projects. Meanwhile, he also spread the idea through a large library of books and paintings which had a great impact on the style of new high-tech, Art Nouveau and structure rationalism. This paper tries to discuss the essence of Eugène Emmanuel Viollet-le-Duc’s rational thoughts and its relationship with other theories at different times and in different places. Furthermore, the impact of his thoughts on representative figures of the early Modern Movement such as Anatole de Baudot, Auguste Perret and Le Corbusier will also be discussed.

    Abstract:
With the development and application of LAD and LBS, the digital footprint of the user has provided convenience for effectively displaying the trajectory of urban population flow and the spatio-temporal aggregation, which makes up for the shortcomings of traditional urban research and spatial planning. With the help of Baidu heat map and ArcGIS, this paper analyzes the temporal-spatial footprint of population flow of the central city of Wuhan City. The results showed that: the population agglomeration showed obvious fluctuation, but the fluctuation of working days was stronger than that of the rest days, and the activity track was highly consistent with the commuting rhythm, while the rest day was more stable. There is a phase difference between working days and rest days; the time of population flow and accumulation is earlier than the rest; the afternoon, the day of rest, the time of population flow and focus lag behind the working days. Whether on weekdays or on the day off, the concentration of the morning is low, and the concentration of people in the afternoon and evening is higher, and is much higher than that in the morning. In the spatial footprint, the working day and the rest day are gathering together the spatial position approximately same, the working day mainly is the commercial center, the transportation hub and the employment center, displays the very obvious work direction. Days off point to traditional shopping centre, large transportation hubs and emerging urban complexes.
