Abstract:The paper intends to resolve contradic-tions between heter-organization character of urban planning and self-organization nature of urban spa-tial system in the view of epistemology. For this, firstly, the paper explains the coupling point which implies cognitive logic of the unity of opposites about urban planning and spatial self-organization. Then, based on the philosophical summary of self-organi-zation theories, the paper expounds the evolution picture of urban spatial self-organization which is covering urban planning.

Abstract:The culture is the soul of the tourism industry, and characteristics of space and landscape of small towns, rich in local cultural, is essential to tourist towns. From the "production of space"perspective, theis article criticizes on mistakes of tra-ditional style of space and scenes "set-style" in real-ity in nowadays tourist towns, points out its inevi-tadle logic in the process of production and consump-tion and its harm, and on the basis of reference in Tourism "front-back"theory, proposes the compro-mise method for town's style construction by the partition strategy.

Abstract:Planting is one of the important factors in regulating artificial environment. There numerous of studies about plant selection and layout in tradi-tional geomantic theories which research on how to regulating environments-especially which people closely related to .These studies are also known as planting geomantic theory. According to it, planting design should not only complies with the basic geomantic principles, but also be in line with the bio-logical characteristics of plants. This paper biscusses the interaction between building environment and plants which is the living,dynamic changing organisms, and the principle of plants distribution based on geomantic configuration.

Abstract:With the rapid development of the city, the xoundscape in the public space is being gradually destroyed. For the tendency of emphasis on Visual in the current urban landscape planning,this paper ans-lyzes the soundscape in the public space and intro-duces concepts and methods of the soundscape design. Furthermore, the article puts forward the application of "borrowed scenery", "appositive scenery","necessary garden landscape" and "obstructive scenery" of classical Chinese garden, which could help us create integrity and sense of site of the space.

Abstract:According to the characteristics of moun-tain cities, this article puts forward the emphases of space control in urban planning area. Based on the land evaluation of ecological sensitivity, construc-tion suitability and the elements of ban-construction and restrict-construction, it analyzes how to effec-tively organize the land of the urban planning area, and presents a kind of operable research method for urban space control in mountain city by the data analysis of space and visual function affording by ArcGIS9.3 software.
