| 在存量更新和全民健身背景下，既有体
育建筑的更新改造成为我国体育建筑内涵式增
长的重要内容。然而，在城市更新过程中，既有
体育建筑面临拆毁严重、建筑形式与功能空间
不适应、环境性能低效等亟待解决的矛盾。基于
对我国现代体育建筑遗产保护更新的理论研究
和实践现状的调查，梳理和剖析在历史文化价
值、利用与经济价值和环境价值三个方面不同
力度的价值保护与建筑更新行为，以都灵市政体
育中心遗产保护和改扩建实践进行对比，探析
其在实践中的系统性设计方法，并总结了三个层
面的设计策略：城市环境的保护与优化、功能空
间的适应性更新和空间环境的个性适宜。比较发现，以历史文化价值、利用与经济价值和环境价值的保护与提升为基础，整体开放、动态包容
的保护更新策略，有利于实现既有体育建筑与城市环境相融合和可持续发展。研究旨在为体育建
筑遗产的保护更新提供方法和思路。 |

| Design Strategies in the Protection and Regeneration of Modern Sports Architectural Heritage: A Case Study of the Municipal Sports Center in Turin, Italy |

| In the context of China’s urban development from incremental expansion to stock
renewal, the renovation of existing sports buildings has become an important part of the
connotative growth of China’s sports buildings. The sustainable operation of venues and
the realization of the goal of national fitness also bring new challenges to the protection and
renewal of existing sports buildings.
This study regards modern sports architectural heritage as an important part of
modern architectural heritage. Modern sports architectural heritage has the characteristics
of general modern architectural heritage. They are the existing modern sports buildings
with comprehensive value in China after 1840, including cultural relics buildings, historical
buildings and general sports buildings with certain protection and utilization value. Nearly one
hundred years, China has accumulated a large number of outstanding modern architectural
heritage. The research on the protection and renewal of modern sports buildings in China began
after entering the new millennium. On the whole, the research on the protection and renewal of
modern sports architectural heritage in China is only in the stage of practical exploration.
However, in the process of urban renewal, the existing sports buildings are facing the
problems of serious demolition, incompatibility between architectural form and functional
space, and inefficient environmental performance. This paper discusses the protection and
renewal strategies of modern sports architectural heritage by means of literature research, field
research and case comparison.
First of all, through the investigation of the theoretical research progress and practice
status of the protection and renewal of China’s modern sports architectural heritage, drawing
on the theory of the transformation and utilization of industrial historical buildings and
according to the value protection and architectural renewal behavior of different strengths, the
protection and renewal methods of China’s modern sports architectural heritage are dividedinto preservation and repair, transformation and utilization, construction and expansion, demolition and reconstruction. This paper summarizes and
analyzes the design strategies of the protection and renewal of Chinese modern sports architectural heritage from three levels: the protection and
continuation of historical and cultural value, the utilization and economic value promotion, and the optimization of environmental value.
The protection and continuation of historical and cultural values are based on the characteristics and needs of the urban environment. The
spatial pattern and the characteristics of sports buildings in the area are protected and continued. The external space, shape, style and other contents
are processed, including the preservation and repair of the style, the coordination of the old and new or the expansion of the contrast. Utilization
and economic value enhancement mainly through the adjustment of the spatial layout of sports architectural heritage, including the original space
to retain repairs, space transformation and expansion of new space to adapt to multiple functional requirements, to achieve functional adaptability
and sustainability. The protection of environmental value lies in shaping a comfor table space experience and achieving an ecologically sustainable
energy-saving environment.
The study found that there are some shortcomings in the protection and renewal of modern sports architectural heritage in China, such as lack
of value protection, lack of systematicness and integrity of renewal strategies.
Secondly, the protection and reconstruction of Municipal Sports Center in Turin serves as a comparative case study. Municipal Sports Center
is one of the important sports facilities in Turin. It was included in the protection of Turin’s environmental and cultural heritage in 1984. The
government took the Torino Olympic Winter Games as an opportunity to protect and adapt the sports center. Through field investigation and
comparative analysis, this paper compares the protection and expansion of Municipal Sports Center with the protection and renewal practice of
modern sports architectural heritage in China, analyzes its systematic design method in practice, and summarizes three levels of design strategies:
protection and optimization of urban environment, adaptive renewal of functional space and personality suitability of space environment. Among
them, the strategies in the urban environment include urban texture weaving, the protection of existing features and the compatibility of old and new
forms. In the aspect of adaptive renewal of functional space, it includes the adaptation and transformation of existing space and the rationality of new
space. In the aspect of personality suitability of space environment, it includes the comfort and suitability of existing environment and the indoor
environment of shaping personality.
Through comparison, it is found that taking the protection and promotion of historical and cultural value, utilization and economic value
and environmental value as the starting point, the overall open and dynamic inclusive protection and renewal are conducive to the integration
and sustainable development of existing sports buildings and urban environment. Based on this, this paper puts forward the renewal strategy of
protection and promotion of heritage value, and the design principle of overall openness and dynamic inclusion, aiming to provide methods and ideas
for the protection and renewal of sports architectural heritage |
