本研究依据社会网络分析方法,运用引
力模型理论与方法,选取山西省各地市2002年、
2006年、2010年、2015年和2019年五年旅游经济
相关数据,对山西省以市域为单位的旅游经济网
络结构进行分析,研究表明:全省旅游经济网络
密度在波动中增长,太原作为绝对核心区在旅游
经济联系中发挥着重要作用,临汾旅游经济中介
通道作用强,大同、朔州等城市相比之下旅游经
济发展较落后。整体来看,随着旅游经济发展,
省域内各地市之间的交互联系随时间推移逐渐增
多,旅游经济空间网络结构向均衡化演变。根据
以上结果,对山西省旅游经济提出两级核心、三
级轴线、四个片区的空间发展结构和点轴带动、
组团两种发展模式,为其旅游空间结构优化和旅
游经济协同发展提供参考。 |

Exploration of Spatial Network Structure Characteristics and Optimization Model of TourismEconomy in Shanxi Province Based on Gravity Model |

Abstract: |
Based on theory of the gravity model and yearly dataset of the tourism economy of
eleven municipal cities of Shanxi Province in 2002, 2006, 2010, 2015 and 2019, it analyzed the
characteristics of network structure of tourism economy for each municipal city, by using social
network methods. Results showed that that tourism economic connection degree (quantity) of
between the municipal cities in Shanxi Province increased with the passage of time, and the
tourism economic connection between the cities are becoming more and more closely. Taiyuan
city has the largest tourism economic connection degree (quantity) in each period over the
observation years. Core position of Taiyuan city in tourism is prominent and its radiation and
driving effects are obvious, and its spillover effect is significant. Shuozhou and Yangquan cities
have the smallest tourism economic connection degree (quantity) in each period across the years,
which has become a restrictive factor for the comprehensive development of the province’s
tourism economy. The evolution of the spatial structure showed the change from a single-core to
dual-core variations, and the final trend was toward equilibrium.
The density value of the tourism economic network gradually increased during the
study period, and the number of connections between the cities increased with increasing
time, and the tourism economic connection became increasingly closely. The intra-regional
network centrality was different. The point-in-degree high-value area gradually spread out
from Taiyuan as the core, and the point-out-degree high-value area gradually evolves from a
dual-core structure with Linfen and Datong as the core to Linfen as the core. The area of low-
value areas was gradually shrinking, and the interactive connections between the cities were
gradually increasing. The out-degree and in-degree was closed to the centrality change in the
opposite direction. During the research period, a polar-nucleus structure with both Taiyuan
and Jinzhong cities as the core was formed, and it gradually moved towards equilibrium. The
direct connection between the south of Shanxi province, the southeast of Shanxi province and
Jinzhong increased, while the north of Shanxi province, a peripheral area being close to the
center, had less direct and effective connections with other areas. During the study period, the
centrality of the betweenness of the network appeared that the core area shifted to the south,
that is, from Taiyuan to Linfen, and the spatial structure was a point-like structure centered on
the core area. In terms of core-periphery structure, the number of core areas connected withtourism economy increased from four in 2002 to six in 2019. Taiyuan city played an important role as an absolute core area. Interactions between the
cities played an important role in tourism economic connections, and the low network density between marginal areas restricted the development of
the overall tourism economy.
According to the above results, the spatial development structure of three cores, two axes and four areas for Shanxi tourism was suggested. The two
development models of point-axis-driven and a package tour were proposed for the tourism economy of Shanxi Province. The three cores were Taiyuan,
Jinzhong and Linfen, and the two axes were the Datong-Yuncheng expressway and the G306 Road, and the four areas were the the frontier culture and
buddhist culture area in the northern Shanxi, the merchant cultural area in the central Shanxi, the Shandang culture in the southeastern Shanxi and the
Taihang mountain scenic tourist area, the ancestral cul tural area in the southern Shanxi, respectively. The main tourism models were summarized that
relying on the three cores and two axes, it will drive the development of the tourism economy in the cities along the route, and then drive the overall tourism
economic development in the province. In the concept of core tourism development, Taiyuan city can be regarded as the first-level core point, and Jinzhong
and Linfen as the second-level core points. Among them, Xinzhou’s tourism economic connection degree continued to rank third in the Shanxi province
from 2001 to 2019, and the status of its tourism economy was obvious. At the same time, Xinzhou city had a world cultural heritage tourist destination,
which is well-known and highly attractive to tourists. Therefore, it can be used as a secondary core point and undertake secondary core tasks together with
Jinzhong and Linfen cities. The two axes of tourism development in Shanxi Province were that relying on the Datong-Yuncheng expressway to connect
Datong, Shuozhou, Xinzhou, Taiyuan, Jinzhong, Linfen, Yuncheng, and relying on the G306 road to connect Taiyuan, Lvliang, Yangquan and other cities,
respectively, and through them the diffusion effect of core points to enhance the horizontal flow of tourism information would be implemented within the
province. Based on the scale effect, Shanxi tourism could be divided into the frontier culture and buddhist culture area in the northern Shanxi, the merchant
cultural area in the central Shanxi, the Shandang culture in the southeastern Shanxi and the Taihang mountain scenic tourist area, the ancestral cul tural area
in the southern Shanxi. It also propose that the developing direction of Shanxi tourism for each area should further take unique tourism recourse as feature
themes, and optimized the current scenic spots and raise awareness of the scenic spots. At the same time, the governments at all levels should develop
untapped potential tourism resources, and promote cultural tourist attractions; on the basis of natural resource tourist attractions and by means of planning
and developing different packaged tours and breaking the limits of administrative divisions within the province, and combing the regions with similar
tourism resources and optimizing tourism infrastructure construction, improving tourism service level the scale effect of tourism could be achieved.
In summary, the research proposes a reasonable tourism economic development model which has important reference significance for
promoting industrial transformation and upgrading, as well as for promoting the coordinated development of tourism economy between the cities
and the development of all-region tourism. |
