| 法式之论，上古有之。《尚书 舜
典》记载舜之时，即以垂为共工，语及造物
之巧设与自然和谐法；宋李仲明作《营造
法式》开篇即言明“櫼栌栱柱相支，规矩
准绳先治”的根本立场，因之“斫轮之手，
巧或失真”，故而“考阅旧章，稽参众智”，
由此开启法式并举的先例。计成为《园冶》，
“存式百状”，唯独于掇山，不列一式，由
此开造园掇山有法无式之端绪。本文即
以《园冶》、《识语》诸文本及明末历史语
境为依据，探讨营造之法与园林之式，兼
涉《园冶》所论之“体、宜、因、借”和“规
矩”、“国能”之说。 |

| The?controversy?over?the?principle?and?styles?in?Chinese?garden?making?has?been
everlasting.?Shangshi Shun Code?recorded?the?earliest?Chinese?craftsman,?“Gong?gong”?“
so-called”?took?harmony?between?architecture?and?nature?as?the?first??principle.?The?famous
works?of?architecture?by?Li?Zhongming?of?Song?Dynasty,?Yingzao Fashi, has also mentioned
a?fundamental?point?that?the?guidelines?and?principles?should?be?the?first?priority,?and?for?the
first?time,?took?the?principle?and?style?as?equally?important?aspects.?As?the?only?masterpiece?in
ancient?Chinese?gardening?history,?Yuanye,?took?the?priority?on?many?specific?forms?and?styles
in?building?a?garden.?While?only?in?Stonepiling,?the?author?gave?no?any?specific?forms?excepted
some?basic?principles.?This?article?takes?this?view?as?the?starting?point?to?explore?the?dialectical
relationship?between?the?principle?and?style?in?the?practices?of?Chinese?ancient?gardens. |
