LUO Zhaoyang
Abstract:
With his vocabulary “future”, “ambiguous” and “inclusive”, Sou Fujimoto tries to start a kind of style revolution about daily poetic. His book, The Birth Of Architecture, directly regards the association between portions and the sense of original space as the declaration on the reform of develop mechanisms about architecture. He uses “nest” as the metaphor of “the ambiguity of living”. The paper focuses on the purpose of deciphering the association between his interpretations of the theory and the designs, by studying the graphical expression of his work, explaining related the channel from image to entities, obtaining the possibility of diagram analysis on Sou Fujimoto’s work, and stratified analyzes its “unfinished state” nature from the pattern of narrative image and the poetic process in dismantling the complex space and the narrative potential. Finally, the paper summarizes the consequence that the diagram design is read from the complex social patterns, cultural variation, differential mode of association and so on, besides the value of its significance and practice vocabulary. The concept inspired by the original commands the architecture are being used now as well as in the future. The methods of this study are research and investigation.
