伊斯兰教建筑装饰符号汉化的特征及缘由探析 ——以西安化觉巷清真大寺砖雕为例

摘要:
为满足不同的功能需要及各种文 化层次的审美要求,建筑形制及其装饰形 式总是随着时代和环境而不断变迁。伊斯 兰教在中国漫长的传经布道过程中,其建 筑装饰逐渐将阿拉伯建筑特色与中国传统 建筑形制完美融合,形成了独具一格的建筑 风格,有力推动了中阿建筑的发展。西安化 觉巷清真大寺是伊斯兰教建筑汉化的典型 代表,其建筑装饰不仅体现了伊斯兰教教 义,同时也融入了汉文化中的儒家思想与民 俗内涵。本文以西安化觉巷清真大寺的砖 雕为例,对伊斯兰教建筑中装饰符号汉化 的特征及形成缘由进行了探析。

Explorations on Characteristics and Reasons of the Chinesization of Islamic Architectural Decoration Symbol—The Example of Great Mosque in Xi’an

Abstract:
To meet the need of different functions and the aesthetic requirements at different cultural levels, the architectural form and its decorative style vary with environment and time. In the long process of spreading in China, Islamic architectural decoration gradually makes a perfect combination of Arabian architectural features and Chinese traditional architecture characteristics, which forms a distinctive architectural style, promotes the development of Arabian and Chinese construction. The Xi’an Great Mosque, as the typical representative of Chinesization of Islamic architecture, its architectural decoration not only refl ects the Islamic philosophy, but also integrates the Confucianism and folkways into Chinese culture. This paper, taking the Xi'an Great Mosque as an example, analyzes the characteristics and formation reasons of the brick carving in Islamic architecture.
