Abstract:Chinese architectural education was in the initial stage from 1920s to 1940s. Since?most?of?the?architectural?teachers?had?been?studied?abroad,?their?teaching-mode almost?completely?copied?that?of?foreign?countries.?At?the?same?time,?American?architectural education?had?been?formed?their?own?diversified?modernism?road,?which?was?distinct?from their?headstream?of?European.?At?the?same?time,?American?architectural?education?had?a?great infl ?uence?on?Chinese?architectural?educational?system?through?the?returning?oversea?students devoting?to?architectural?education.?During?this?period,?in?terms?of?architectural?education between?America?and?China,?there?were?similarities?of?the?teaching?goal?and?the?teaching stuff,?as?well?as?differences?of?the?developing?stage,?original?theory,?teaching?concept?and teaching mode
