Although China was an agricultural society in long-term and countryside was the main body of the society, it is still important to do rural planning and rural construction in the background of the current era of urbanization now. From the current view, connecting type of rural planning should become the main working mode of contemporary China’s rural planning. This mode of rural planning with both inheritance and innovation, has the advantages of continuing national context, realizing organic renewal of countryside, low cost and so on. In adopting this planning mode, planner should respect the internal space texture and history of a village, learn more humanism, use a more small scale of planning that is suitable for the village, and pay close attention to the rural social and economic transition and so on.
