While the controversies between form and function,structure and space are still intensively taken,an integrative and efficient solution is emerging silently.As a symbol of the new industrial revolution,digital fabrication is gradually infiltrated into almost all domains of our lives. Obviously,architecture can hardly be unaffected in this milieu. Scientifically,digital fabrication is not only a systematical discourse associated with many disciplines,but also an accurate expression of certain design philosophy.Several cases are demonstrated in this paper to present the methodology of digital projects starting from design concept to construction. Meanwhile,a latent principle between form and structure in terms of digital technology has been rigorously developed and followed as well.
