Based on the educational principle of“Open up, Bring in”,DAL (Digital Design Laboratory) has set up the collaborations with many other research institutions,such as ZHA|CODE and WAX team, and has conducted annual digital fabrication workshops. During the participation of the workshops,tutors and students start to build up their own understandings of digital architecture design,and learn the skills of using computational software and applications through making real scale models and prototypes. Empowered by the last couple of years’experience, DAL starts the revolution in the educational system by introducing digital design tools to students. The achievement at current stage lays out a strong foundation for the future prospect of digital education.
