The construction of urban green space is important for city development and city life quality. By analyzing the current urban development conditions in China and the problems in green space construction, learning from traditional thought connotation of urban green heart, this paper explores a special type of “green heart” and puts forward development strategies based on scale rank, distribution, land use and traffic construction, and studies the experience of green heart planning in Yingtan City, Jiangxi province. It’s expected that it will provide better solutions for the optimization of urban green space construction.
