With the rapid urbanization, the problems of environmental pollution, depletion of resources, sub-health of residents and cultural absence in urban construction is looming, and the construction of ecological civilization has received unprecedented attention. Based on ecological civilization, it points out the necessity of focusing on ecological protection, promoting low-carbon construction, concerning the health of residents and seeking cultural identity. The paper proposes coping strategies of the residence planning of Haidong in Dali city in order to create a harmonious mountainous residence.
