The development of urbanization in China is faced with the challenge of unavoidable aging population. The problem of aging population flow has been the important issue about the healthy development of urbanization in China. This paper focuses on inadequate coordination of aging population flow and urbanization, and attaches importance to the practical demand of the current population flow. Based on the analysis of the health path of population f low and the judgment about the disorder of aging population f low, it clarifies the urbanization development dilemma. It’s problem-oriented and creatively proposes the coordination mechanism, which takes the “the ideal old-age residence” construction as the key and covers “living space, economic security, emotional exchange, the pension service and traffic communication”. Focusing on the two core issues about the ideal old-age residence—“where to build?” and “how to build?”, it tries to put forward the specific strategies and realization ways to build the large old-age residences in the urban-rural integration area. It’s expected that it will provide references for realizing the coordinated development of urbanization and aging problems.
