The circulation is the soul of architectural space. Good circulation design is actually a kind of situation creation. Firstly, this paper clarifies the concept of scenario creation and the significance of the circulation design. Then it reveals the unique charm of the situation creation by circulation design through the analysis of the classic case of the circulation design, especially by the investigation and personal experience of two outstanding buildings: the Villa Savoye and the Quai Branly Museum. Finally, it summarizes the basic methods for situation creation in circulation design.
