The expansion of urbanization and the application of large project forced a large number of cultural relics to change the location.The accomplishment of cultural relics relocation reconstruction work doesn’t mean that preservation work has been finished, and the follow-up work still needs attention.This paper mainly introduces related issues of the museum type relocation in the relocation preservation as well as the application of the principle of authenticity and identification in the relocation reconstruction, takes the Xiaoguanshan ancient building group as an example to explore the preservation planning and display of cultural relics in terms of scope of preservation,display content, layout method,tourism development and management of operation,and analyzes the management of the subsequent preservation and the mode of utilization development to preserve cultural relics better.
