Abstract:With the constant upgrading of agricultural modernization of tea-planting areas of western Sichuan, China, tea culture promotion and environmental protection are being overlooked. The serious loss of cultural features of tea-planting region has seriously hindered the development of the tertiary industry in western Sichuan. Given the existing problems, this paper explores the feasibility of eco-environment and culture protection of tea-planting areas, and proposes a set of workable frameworks for preserving local tea cultures. The validity of the framework proposed has been demonstrated in the town planning of Chengjia, one of the most important tea-planting towns in China. It’s expected that it will provide practical reference for the tea culture protection planning programs in west Sichuan.
