Street is an important place for social life,emotional satisfi cation of street design has a positive impact on people's physical and mental health. Firstly, this paper presents that the emotional satisfaction is the development trend of street construction; secondly,it summarizes the emotional demand for streets through literature review and the objective elements of streets, and further studies the relationships between these elements and the emotional satisfastion. At last,it proposes designing strategies of beautiful street which meet the need of people’s emotional satisfaction in turns of space,form street environment and ecology.
