Abstract:It’s obvious to all that contemporary architectural development tends to be globalized.At the same time,it’s also indicated that architects in different cultural background are inclined to be different. This paper takes two winners of Pritzker Architecture Prize - Zaha Hadid and Kazuyo Sejima as the representative of eastern and western architects respectively, and conducts a comparative study of their architectural aesthetics and design method so as to illustrate the differences between eastern and western architects and architectural culture,and explore the essence of respective culture.
