Modern historical view is one of the rising types in recent years. Related theory has laid a solid foundation for the understanding of west and even the whole world. It has been the exploration focus that how to effectively make use of those fundamental theory and concepts in the field of research and teaching of Western Architectural History. This paper conducts some reflections on the teaching and research in terms of combing knowledge clues, organization of teaching content in recent years.
