According to the construction phenomenon that "planation" of the mountainous space in Hilly-Gullied Loess Region under the Urbanization, the paper selects the southern new city of Yanan as the research object and discusses a urban space development mode under ecology pattern. Based on the analysis of ecological elements of the region, integrating the regional ecological pattern protection and the adaptability construction demand of the mountainous city , the paper presents a series of strategies of the conservation and utilization planning of ecological pattern factors .According to these methods , the paper tries to construct the mountainous city space structure model that adapting to the characteristics of the ecological pattern in the Hilly-Gullied Loess Region. In order to provide a useful way of thinking on expanding the space for the Hilly-Gullied Loess Region.
