This paper employs the concept of situational dialogue and introduces it into spatial analysis of traditional streets. It illustrates the unique spatial morphology of traditional streets, and analyzes the components of scenarios and scenes as well as the ways of how people can feel and recall the common memory of scenarios. Finally, the ways of constructing the spatial identity and experience are explored. It’s expected that it will provide enlightenment on renovation of pedestrian streets in the city.
