With beautiful environment and abundant species resources, the land-lake ecotone along the river corridor has high ecological, social, and economic values. Due to the excessive development of waterfront region and a lack of overall coordination, the ecological structure of land-lake ecotone was damaged seriously. Based on a case study of non-construction land planning in Chengdu City, this paper explores the overall planning of the land-lake ecotone under the longitudinal and horizontal space system. It attempts to improve the water environment along the river corridor, ensure the security of drinking water, and promote the development of regional industry.
