Wit h t he g row i ng globali zat ion , the urban planning practice in China today is increasingly at the mercy of hegemonic culture of the west. The indigenous culture has been placed in jeopardy and cityscapes are tending to converge. Taking Long county as an example, this paper starts with the analysis of its cultural attribute and sums up its cultural core. Hopefully, it will help to instruct the landscape design process, embodying and developing its cultural characteristics, and creating a unique charm city.
