Abstract: |
Under the background of new urbanization and the bottom-up approach of
community governance, community culture can be constructed effectively, started with
cultivation of community identity, which can also contribute to the formation of basic urban
culture unit in some specific areas. According to the synthesis of the studies from different
subjects at home and abroad, “participation” and “interaction” are the primary accesses to
the cultivation of community identity. This article mainly uses methods of literature review,
comparative study and in-depth interview to search for the strategies of community identity
cultivation basing on two typical communities in Amoy which can be classified into local
community and migrant community. The authors propose that local community should give
priority to the demand and supply of public infrastructure and public space as well as the
construction of the interactive platform for all kinds of community cultural activities, while
migrant community should give priority to the transformation of management mode and the
realization of equal public services due to the heterogenicity and the mobility. Also, migrant
community could construct interactive platform between community and enterprise to enable
the latter play a role in activities organization and services provision so that a sound community
cultural atmosphere could be created. |
