| 通过调研获得全面真实的信息是展开历史街区研究、规划及设计的重要基础，而面对其丰富的社会、人文等历史信息，偏重空间物质属性的传统调研方法往往力有不逮，因此，借用公共史学理论对传统调研方法进行拓展的研究就具有了必要性。以重庆十八梯历史街区为例，运用公共史学方法对街区历史信息进行收集、分析并评价，在获取了更为全面的历史信息同时，传达出更多利益体的公共要求，凸显了公共史学的应用价值，而某些结论上与传统调研的不一致更突显了学科交叉研究的重要意义。 |

| To get the comprehensive information is the important basis of historical block research, planning and design through the survey and investigation, while facing the abundant social and historical humanities information, traditional survey method which attaches great importance to the space material properties is usually hard to catch the point comprehensively, therefore, it has the necessity to apply public history theory to the survey methodology research. Taking Chongqing Eighteen Stairs historical block as an example, to collect, analyze and evaluate the information of the block based on the public history theory, it got more comprehensive historical information, at the same time conveyed more public demands, then highlights the application value of public history, besides, some different results from the different survey methods make the significance of survey method based on public history theory more clear. |
