| Abstract: |
| Based on the architectural practice of Tang Pu, this essay interprets the
design principles and the innovative ideas of Tang Pu in terms of fi ve aspects: dialectical
view of system, the composite view of nationality and regionality, the technology view
combined with high technology and the humanistic spirit, and ecological environmental
view based on the standardization and generalization of the architectural industry and
traditional Feng-shui theory. This essay aims to explore the thinking and response of
Chinese architects against the era in modern times. |
