| With a brief analysis on one of Louis I Kahn's masterpieces in his late career--Fort Wayne Fine Art Center, this article intends to illustrate the process of uniting of Kahn's Ideal Assembly Building and explain its techmical operability as well as its impact on urban space. Meanwhile, this research shows that the question awareness and methods to resolve it reflected in this project could be an impor-tant reference due to its effort trying to reconcile the contradiction between general space in modern era and the concept of place |
