| Reviewing briefly the development of rail-way station in Chongqing, this paper discusses the significance of the transfer between city and modern railway terminal developed from railway station. Giving the example of North Train Station in Chongqing, it analyses the "place and spot" func-tion of railway terminal and points out the status and development trend of the future railwy station in the city, which have a certain guiding function to the architectural design of modern railway station. |
